Our family chose to stay at the Martinique Whitsunday in July 2011. We were thrilled with our choice and had a very exciting holiday. We chose The Martinique Whitsunday for its romantic, Mediterranean aspect as a marriage proposal was given while on our holiday also at Whitehaven beach. (She said yes!). Our 3 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The pool and spa areas are picture perfect and just the thing to relax in after a busy day touring the Whitsundays and exploring the Great Barrier Reef. Our hosts were friendly and of great assistance in booking tours/activities for our family; and the tour operators came to the Martinique Whitsunday to pick us up and return us.The views from our apartment were stunning Thank you Martinique Whitsunday for a memorable holiday and yes.... I would stay againl
In our family group were 2 tall young men and 3 ladies. My only complaint was that I would have liked more comfortable seating in the lounge area. The cane style 2 & 3 seater lounges weren't very comfortable . They served there purpose.

The view from the apartment out to the islands was superb and well worth the climb up the hill. The staff were extremely friendly and made all necessary processes as unobtrusive and convenient as possible and the infinty pool was great.
The climb up the hill is a little challenging when carrying shopping but apart from that no complaints.

The apartment was very large, the views were extraordinary and the service excellent. Location was up a quite steep hill, however we knew this before going. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.
Unfortunately on one night there were a group of very drunk people making a lot of noise, which disturbed our sleep. However, the staff addressed the issue and it didn't happen again.

Apartment was modern. A microwave oven, an electric kettle and a refrigerator were a huge plus. This hotel had a very central position close to the city centre.
